We were bored and watched this tonight. Oof. Pretty pointless and maybe just a few good laughs in the whole thing, otherwise either not funny or really terrible. C-

Yeah, it's a shame that the conversation around it became basically "the only reason to not like this is because you're a misogynist." It was pretty unfunny.

The RedLetter Media reviews are a pretty good watch if you want some help putting words to what was so bad about it. (You don't have to watch all of these, they take somewhat different tones but all cover pretty much the same ground)

My biggest issue with it was that the humor was completely different. It was very rapid fire jokey which is more 30 Rock than Ghostbusters. That’s totally fine but jarring when you’re going into a franchise that’s not doing that. I enjoyed it enough though, and actually watched some of the stunts performed as they were being filmed in Boston a few blocks from work.
