Standard uncondioned telephone has a bandwidth of 3k; the range varies somewhat but it's usually about 300-3000 Hz. AM radio is 0-5kHz and FM is 0-15kHz. The audio part of a (non-HD) TV signal is about the same bandwidth as FM radio; I have no idea about things like high-def and digital cable.tviyh wrote:coverfight songs?
Above all applies to the US-of-A; standards vary from country to country.

It always baffles me how people suddenly post replies to posts from 4 months ago. Are you just reading the archive, or what?
I mean, it's cool and all, just wondering.

actually, i just found songfight about a month ago and haven't really looked much at the forums, and this was one of the top posts i think. it dosen't seem that anybody posts in this particular forum. i just read down through and this was the only thing i felt compelled to say anything about. i didn't realize it was so old, or i wouldn't have wasted that 5 minutes of my life. good point though, it seems to me that the forums are a waste of time besides the review section. i also realized that i posted a reply on the collaboration one that was about as old.

nah, the forums are what gives this community life and vibrancy, in addition to the music. sometimes the off-topic conversations are the best. i was just wondering how you came across the post and i didn't mean to sound off-putting.
anyway, it was good info in your post. i agree about the loudness crap.

Your avatar compliments this quote quite nicely. I feel shame, but not guilt.jb wrote: B) Help and How To is for Help and How To, not off-topic bullcrap. Please restrain yourselves from polluting inappropriate forums with meaningless chatter.
Somehow I'm sure you and Leaf will get back together.
