If I may impose the burden of a small request upon your conscience, would you please place a transcription of your lyric in the appropriate thread?

Re: Siskel and Ebert to do (Pat and Kimi Move to Hollywood reviews)
Hi, I'm new here. I listened to all your songs and voted for some of them [EDIT: voted entries are marked below]... (assuming I remembered them all correctly!)
Here are some random thoughts I had while listening:
Berkeley Social Scene: Very poppy + sunshiney – I feel like maybe there was supposed to be a subtle hint of overdrive thrown over the whole mix, to give it a feeling of analogue warmth, but it might have been accidentally overdone a bit, especially in combination with the distorted organ sound, etc.; but honestly I think I like the way it turned out. So if this description is at all accurate, I’d call it a happy accident.
Caravan Ray: After the first few lines (and also while glancing at the lyrics) I was afraid it would turn out to be a straight up Beatles sendup, but glad to see plenty of variation here to keep it interesting (not that songs about evil motherfuckers aren’t already interesting enough!), but also glad to see the literal acknowledgement in the final vocal line bringing it back full-circle.
Jay $tring: Digging on the Tubeway Army vibe; the vocals and the synth line each work against the percussion in an interesting way, such that when the drum part drops out and the synth part changes up (about 45 seconds from the end) it feels like something shifted and the vocals are lined up totally differently against the music, even though it doesn’t seem to actually be the case. Keeps the listeners on their toes.
Lichen Throat: Guitar tone is very nice, as is that occasional little tambourine-ish jangle. Not sure I’m fully convinced the vocalist is singing the same song at the same time as the remainder of the band.
The Pannacotta Army: You think you're gonna take her away / With your money and your cocaine / some of the chord changes here were slightly unexpected (meant as a compliment), especially in that transition into the chorus (or “B” section) / She might need a lot of lovin’ but she don’t need you. [VOTE]
Pigfarmer Jr: Why do they want to move? Because Frankie Goes there. – Almost had the perfect song except that it faded out too quickly. The length was just right, but it should have had a proper ending at the end. Otherwise, *chef’s kiss*. [VOTE]
Watching Owls: I think you know that these falsetto parts are just slightly out of range for you, but I can’t complain about that, it fits the rawness of the song overall. What I can complain about, though, is that squeaky chair. Once, maybe even twice, would have been forgivable, but near the end it got a bit excessive. [VOTE]
WreckdoM: Tragic that this song was written and recorded at least three years too late, because it would have fit flawlessly on the Captain Marvel soundtrack. I know they’ve got a new one coming out next year, but I’m guessing it’ll be set in a different time period and have a somewhat different aesthetic. Tragic. [VOTE]
Thanks.

Thanks Deep Throat, and all y'all for this. Was truly fucking weird to experience, heh.
Cover art is (top) view from future-home's front porch; (bottom) reverse view from down the front stairs looking up at where top view picture was taken.
Berkeley Social Scene:
First impressions: fx is/are garbling the vocals in the ol' earpods; this is going to be a severely surreal fight to listen to.
Will play at: westbound to the 5 South, through the hills of Livermore
Caravan Ray:
<3 <3 <3
Will play at: 5 South, dropping out of the Grapevine into the middle of nowhere.
Jay String:
Fun! Missed that cashpoint joy
Will play at: 'Round about Burbank, coming up on the Hollywood Bowl exit off the 101, aka the exit to (near)future-home.
Lichen Throat:
Nice, thanks!
Will play at: 101 South, in that empty stretch around San Simeon
The Pannacotta Army:
Digging the Stan Ridgway mid-'90s vibe; properly dark, with tasty changes in the chromatic shifts
Will play at: the 5 South, Harris Ranch through to Bakersfield
Pigfarmer Jr:
Rick Wakeman, eat your heart out!
Will play at: the 5 South, random rest stop dance parties
Watching Owls:
Delicate. Appreciate you.
Will play at: Ashland, Oregon, cutting west from the 5 to the Coast
WreckdoM:
Bitchin'! Missed your grindage!
Will play at: the 5 South, driving through the wasteland that used to be Lake Shasta
