One on the way for me, too! I couldn't resist one of these Vox Bobcats for only $499 ($1000 off, and it comes with a hardshell case, and shipping is free!).

At that price and with a real case it seemed like I could probably just sell it for $499 again if I didn't love it. There was a "V90" version which came with two P90s that I slightly preferred but they sold out of those. Chumpy got one of those while they were in stock. This triple single-coil version looks the same though and has a great sound on the videos I watched.

Yes indeed. I oped for the two pickup variety. I managed to get the $499 price, which now seems unavailable. Thanks to the SongFight Slack #guitars channel for the heads-up on this!
Now to write a song with it!

Re: Can't get traction (Wheels On Ice prefight)
It seems I'll be back after more than 2 years!
No money - no new guitar. Instead I'll take my 90s equipment (Fender Strat, Aria Bass).
At least it's a new song and digitally recorded ...

Welcome back, Heine.
re: Guitars - I've been looking for a p90 guitar for a while. Eventually I'll settle on something. I just ordered a super cheap Harley Benton with Fullerton pickups because I've always wanted to try them. Also, an acoustic baritone. We'll see if either is usable out of the box.

I did buy a new bass recently. Does that count?

In with a song using both the new guitars. The acoustic baritone and the tele with fullerton pups.

In.
I spoke the title into the mic. I permitted myself to speak the title only once, and however it came out in that first take was what I required myself to use.
Then I spoke it a second time to determine how I would end the piece. Again, I required myself to use that one take.
This is how I made an instrumental that is guaranteed to have come from the given title. I did this once before with "Starting a Witch Hunt".

I'm out of town and not able to send the confirmation emails, so, here's a confirmation that your song was received, Jim.

No new guitar here. I have my Big 4-0 coming up and with that a new guitar. I couldn’t ruffle the house hold feathers and buy a new guitar when my wife got me one for my upcoming birthday.

*looks at site* ok good, it's two days late but the site isn't updated.
Works on song for an hour
*looks at site again* oh crap, it updated.
*submits anyway*
The Rogue Fedoras might be in.

I just had a chance to add songs from The Rogue Fedoras and The Mellfire Trifecta which came in moments after I'd posted the fight.
