In but it's not my best work so hoping that we don't hit the threshold for eliminations in Round Zero. Limited for time this weekend so its essentially just a verse and chorus and that's your lot. Had the idea of starting with a piano motif that gradually fades out as the same loop on synth fades up and absorbs it, and that transition from real to fake got me thinking about AI and specifically how much Hollywood seems to be making overtures towards embracing it.

This song is based on a true story! Two weeks ago, students at Portland State, along with other community members, occupied the library on campus with barricades and tents. Out of curiosity, I visited the site multiple times, and every time I visited, people were being fed and taken care of. Now that it's all over, the media has been reporting only on the instances of property damage, so this song came pouring out of me, to remind myself and others of the profundity of caring for one's community.
