From Outer Space
by The Idiot Kings
Floating in our skies, far above
Are little green men, thinking only of
Coming down to Earth with a virus in hand
Billions unaware of what they have planned
They came from outer space
To infect our inner space
And wipe out the human race
Or maybe make a human zoo
But what if it’s not that at all?
They’re just trapped in boredom’s thrall
We’re like ants to them under a glass
Playthings to gods, we’re just their lab rats
They came from outer space
To infect our inner space
And wipe the human race
They came from outer space
To infect our inner space
Cause there’s nothing better to do
Hey babe, anything is possible!
We’ll just have to see what happens.

From Outer Space by Balls To Monte
Lyrics by Fred Benz
There’re two sides to every story
You're running a two man race
Half of you heads for the past
The other half from outer space
Your friends are like mile markers
You use to set the pace
You don’t ever want to go home
You want to go to outer space
Hanging out next to the moon
With that trippy grin on your face
An uncomfortable cosmic look
You picked up in outer space
Or maybe that's the mission
Go poof without a trace
Pack all the years of baggage
And leave for outer space
Broke as a joke
High as a kite
Too dumb to run
Too bright to fight
Ain't seen a thing
Known everywhere
Time on our side
Hell if I care
I thought you were thinking 'bout girls and bars
You were really just staring up at the stars
It won't be the same without you
Here's to your legacy, Ace
A stool the next hack sits on
Taillights from outer space

Re: From Outer Space
From Outer Space
A creaking of the blinds and a day begins
Whose chances of success are clearly razor thin
People swarm the lawns and now they’re looking in
Luck is just a relative you rarely see
That used to hang around with you endlessly
It’s probably allergic to your lack of energy
Roll the stone away and clear that brush
You know your wife and kids can only take so much
Strip away the chemicals and shave that face
So the press stops saying that you come from outer space
Tendons tighten, muscles clench, like they did
When everyone around you was a crazy kid
Before your star exploded and your numbers hit
Voices getting quieter inside your head
Melodies and harmonies are blooming instead
But you can’t return to Hawthorne on a rollaway bed
I’ve been a little bit hard to reach, and hard to hold
Can’t get my cobwebs fully cleared if truth be told
But it’s high time I opened up the throttle and just let it go
Do I even want to know?
A regimen of action is the magic grind
That keeps your brain from falling even further behind
To let you find footholds in your daily climb
Push, pull, try, and fail, right the ship
Creative is a state of mind evading your grip
But now you can’t surrender and be good with it
Roll the stone away and clear that brush
You know your wife and kids can only take so much
Strip away the chemicals and shave that face
So the press stops saying that you come from outer space

From Outer Space
By WreckdoM
For a myriad of periods of time
I shall forego the health of my mind
It is as I have been assigned
I am a spaceman, a spaceman
I shall relay to you in verse
All I have seen of the universe
It is dark and it is cursed
For a spaceman, a spaceman
There is no rock, there is no green,
You don't feel brave, you don't feel free
No one is there to hear me scream
"I am a spaceman! A spaceman!"
I feel the fluid in my brain
Dissipating in this astral plane
Someday a bronze plaque will read my name
As a spaceman, a spaceman
I am a spaceman
