Re: Isn't every idea (Just A Theory prefight)
Repeated lyrics?
REPEATED LYRICS?
Y'all know that's just called a chorus, right?
OR... "Third verse same as the first!" - The Violent Femmes
Challenge:
noun
noun: challenge; plural noun: challenges
1.
a call to take part in a contest or competition, especially a duel.
a task or situation that tests someone's abilities.
I'm pretty sure this optional challenge, challenges the definition of the word challenge.

Repeated more. You know, some songs, you don't pay attention, but then later you do and you realize, the second verse is the same as the first. Or maybe it turns out a song actually has very few lyrics and it just repeats lines a lot, etc. Or maybe a song is an unusual structure like it's just two very slightly different repeats of the same sort of through-composed flow of lyrics etc.

Or maybe the chorus of the song is just the same one line repeated 4 times. There are lots of different ways to be repetitive.

Mellfire Trifecta is in. There's repeated stuff to meet the challenge. I repeat: there's stuff.

I think I missed the deadline having thought it was the 28th, not realizing it was actually Monday the 26th. Oh well.

That song is great because it only one of a few songs that actually haunt me! Making it a great song that is hard to listen to sometimes.

Oh I like the song, but this thread was too relevant to not share the meme.

re: Mr Brightside - It has been banned from the MIZZOU basketball games this year by the University System President. It seems for a couple of years there's a section where all the students sing/yell FUCK KU! over and over... the best part is that the timing works out that it happens right when the TV broadcast returns from a timeout so there's a decent chance it's been heard on many, many television sets in the mid Missouri (and surrounding) areas.
Mizzou = The University of Missouri - Columbia
KU = The (incorrigible) Kansas Jayhawks
Interesting side note on the mascots. Both the Mizzou Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks were named after Union army regiments from the Civil War. The only difference being that the Jayhawkers were a bunch of rapists and murders and the Tigers were a local group to keep the confederates from sacking Columbia, MO.
Side note number two: It takes a lot of pride to name your mascot after rapists and murderers.
