You suck. It was at least a “cor blimey”.
But I would love a competition with only one word reviews allowed.
So….cor-blimey. Would be acceptable.
.. or is it ‘gor-blimey’?

Yeah that was the biggest problem with the idea, the fact that then you'd have to police the reviews, and that's pretty unwieldy and also lame. But the point is that participant reviews aren't incentivized in any way, so whether or not you get them is just luck of the draw.
The other thought was about seeing if there's a way to keep some skin in the game for people who had to skip a week. If that's not a problem to you, then it doesn't matter.

Re: Feedback - NEGATIVE
Other than dropping the lowest score, I don't see an easy/fair way of doing that, tbh. I'm not against dropping the lowest score but I do think that changes the idea of this particular challenge in a way that doesn't seem... consistent.

Re: Feedback - NEGATIVE
I mean, to be honest, I tried to keep a good attitude and perspective about "round skipping," but only one person missed a round and actually came back. If I felt confident allowing this was going to result in more songs - well, that seems like a good tradeoff. That's what this is all about, right? But since only TIK returned, I'm leaning toward not allowing skips in the future. Part of the competition is the grind, and I think that has to mean something. That's also why I wouldn't seriously consider dropping the lowest score. If I skip a round and my zero gets dropped and then I beat Mo, who submitted every round, that seems unfair.mo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 12:39 pmYeah that was the biggest problem with the idea, the fact that then you'd have to police the reviews, and that's pretty unwieldy and also lame.
