Great times, y'all.

If folks want me to extract their livefight performance from my local copy of the stream (which has a few different audio tracks available) for their main site submission, let me know in the next day or two. I"m not going to do it unprompted though.

Thanks for putting up the stream! Just so you don't think the effort was in vain, I actually watched it!

Also did Octothorpe not play a set? I didn't see Spud the whole show on Sunday. Hope he's ok!

Spud got a chicken bone stuck in his throat before the show started on Sunday and spent most of the night in the ER!!!! but by the end of the night he was out of danger and recovering at home. he was very much missed, though, and I was also so sorry to lose an Octothorpe set.

finally, for anyone who wondered why I was laughing uncontrollably and nonstop for about 5 minutes straight during Roymond's song, please accept my apologies. I was NOT laughing at his song (it was Great!) but at an unrelated but unexpectedly hilarious incident that occurred during said song. (if you know, you know.)

And just for the record, it was Saturday night.

What a great time! Huge thanks to Spud for organizing it, fluffy for recording and live streaming, Marcus for stepping in to MC and run sound Saturday night, everybody who provided and managed equipment and instruments, and everybody else for all their many contributions. I love the way everyone comes together and makes the show and the weekend happen. Having Sunday night to chill at Jellyfish and listen to the Jaydogs was a nice way to wind down with folks, too. And the Jaydogs sounded great!

I can't wait for next year! Though I think next year we should probably have some COVID related guidelines. (Please folks, as a bare minimum, if someone in your immediate family and/or that you live with, are indoors with in close quarters for long times, etc. has COVID during the week leading up to Song Fight Live, please tell everybody about it so we can make informed decisions about how much/little we want to be exposed.)

I still have one half of a JOYO wireless system. If it’s yours, let me know.
