first submission
i've just submitted brand new car this morning. it's my first submission, and i'm terrified. but i've been reading the boards and you are all so nice. i recorded the vocals before work, so they're a little weak. oh well. hope someone likes it anyway...

I was in a similarly half-baked place after trying to attack my song from two directions; couldn't get good instruments and a good vocal at the same tempo. I finally just submitted the Uke-and-vocal one, and I'm going to write it off as a bad week.Sadly I must bow out this week, despite an awesomely half-baked Brand New Car.
So I'm in for "Brand New Car", although with all the submissions to that title this week my submission will be more background noise. But those who hate my goofy songs may actually like this one, because it's not particularly goofy.

Beautiful.
That didn't make me gufaw... more like that kinda laugh that's half a choked sigh of escaped air and half a giggle... probably the same sound Lucas' is gonna make come to think of it...
I suggest going raw to make him pay for JarJar.

a word about my vocals...
HOLY CRAP! i just listened to my submission again, and the vocals are more than "a little weak." they're actually total shite! i promise they will not suck this much all the time. can't wait to hear the other submissions (particularly mostess).
