Luke Henley opens for someone he's never heard of!

Super indie show alert! August 18th at the Trunk Space in Phoenix, AZ at like 8 pm. Luke Henley will be in attendance with his very sexy guitar/ukulele/accordian if I buy one by then and voice. I'm a lot more fun in person, promise. Oh, and I'll be opening for someone named Aurora Borealis? I dunno man. It's only 5 bucks and I hear there's espresso.

Actually, Luke wound up closing the show, and doing so in fine form. His rendition of "...In Bed," even without the violin accompaniment, was the best song of the night (of course, this is the old guy talking).

Oh, and he doesn't quite look like his avatar:

Yeah, I haven't actually seen the film, but I'm pretty sure Luke's avatar is from Confessions of a Dangerous Mind with George Clooney

And I believe Eight Legged Oedipus' avatar is from Michael Jackson's scrapbook

I wanna see this so bad. Is your show half as gory and bloody as I think it is?
I'm back.

Umm, if you're referring to Luke's show, then, uhh, no, it's not nearly as gory and bloody as you think it is.

Then again, maybe he toned it down last night 'cause his mom was there. I'm not sure...

Yeah, well, I'm really inept in social situations. Less fun in person than I am online, if that's possible... that's part of why I skipped Boston, too... I'd've just sat in the corner the whole time and then gone home feeling unappreciated...

Anyway... very nice set last night. There was another song I really liked, had some references to "snow" in it - was that a SF song?

p.s. no, didn't care much for Father's Day. I was the old guy sitting by the wall after they made everybody else stand up and... uhh, dance.

No, I just wrote that one about 3 days ago. I was a bit rattled about its newness and forgot a lot of the words, which was unfortunate.
