Generally speaking I hate Jim Carey (though I don't know why) but I loved this film which I found in a Bargain DVD bin.

Wow. Weird flick to watch alone. But not sure I'd want to watch it with anybody. Also, awesome.

I actually prefer watching this kind of movie, and most movies, alone. Less distractions. When I watch movies with other people they always end up talking and I miss stuff. The only kind of movies I like to watch with others are the kind that are pure entertainment and don't require much in the way of thinking.roymond wrote:Wow. Weird flick to watch alone. Yeah. I posted because I can. I don't know what the point was. Anyone else agree with my preference?

I agree. If I actually want to see a movie I either watch it on my own or with a friend/family member who also wants to see it. If I don't really care about the movie, I don't really care about who I watch it with.fodroy wrote: Yeah. I posted because I can. I don't know what the point was. I don't talk in theaters except for asides and hilarious jokes about onscreen action. I guess those are synonyms. Anyway on DVD I always turn subtitles on when available, which more or less negates the problem.fodroy wrote:I actually prefer watching this kind of movie, and most movies, alone. Less distractions. Hah, I thought I was the only one that did that. It's kind of funny tho if you accidentally leave them on and see some sports event - the system tries to identify the words the announcers are saying and the most bizarre words come up on the captionfodroy wrote:But the problem with subtitles is that I always end up reading those even when I don't need to.
