my "soft orange glow" only got one vote the week it came out, although i've got some good reviews over at somesongs.
also, "fight the sea" and "violet" each only got one vote... i forgot about that.
i like all three of these, but s.o.g. the best.

It's a little too "O Superman" for me. Good, though.

I remember Blue told me that it was a crime that my <a href="http://www.songfight.org/music/fight_th ... mp3">Fight the Sea</a> didn't win.

Terrible recording quality, and I fear some of my French grammar was a bit off - but this has always been one of my own favourites.

Les Anchois

...and only 1 vote received! Quelle dommage...

thanks :-) a better (re-mastered) version can be found on my website.

I've enjoyed going back (and listening to the stream) and hearing some of these songs that I too am guilty of overlooking. It's nice to hear some of these gems with fresh ears and in new context.

I have to say that I really like One Beatiful Summer by Ants(I) and Les Anchois is the first song of Caravan Ray's (or Rayon de Caravane, as the case may be) that either Mogosagatai or I downloaded. It was our fav for a while I think.

I bet nobody's work is totally neglected. There are probably just weird fans who know that they're weird enough to not bother spreading their opinions.

Everything that has ever been released by <a href="http://dt.songhole.org" target="blank">Duboce Triangle</a> seems criminally underrated in my book.

Their short reign of awesomeness is just that: Too short. I pine for more DT. :(

On a related note: the non-songfight track by Ellipsis called <a href="http://dt.songhole.org/ellipsis/euchari ... harist"</a> is also <a href="http://www.somesongs.com/song_info.php?select=489" target="blank">under-rated</a> in my book, for a song that is one of my favorite songs by anyone... ever.

ROCK!

Less saying who else you like in general, and more saying which of your own songs is criminally neglected.

I thought my Hey Ruth was worth more than four votes. I was pretty happy with that one, and I still play it at some of my shows. I forgot to do it at SFLive in Boston, though. Grr.

Johnny Cashpoint's Top Three Most Criminally Neglected Songs

1.Let It Be - by Yoko Oh No! Two measly votes?

2. Policy of Rape by johnny Cashpoint feat. Future Boy The music is amazing (thanks again, FB) and the lyric is easily the best thing I have ever written for songfight.

Snooter I never really forgave Josh Woodward for taking this fight from me with a bit of aural fluff that rhymed 'snooter' with 'scooter' :)

How can a song be criminally neglected if it got seven votes and came 4th out of eight? It obviously wasn't all that neglected if it got seven votes. Your Snooter is rather nice though.
Songfighter since back in the day.
