I'm noticing a trend with white australian rappers on this site.
Leaf wrote:[CENSORED] did not have a definition for "Wetted". Not that I found. So, what am I missing?
Wet is hip-hop slang for kill (Wetted = killed).

Now it makes sense.... except that without the explaination.... it's lost in translation. Using "in" slang with such a sensitive topic is risky, if you're trying to communicate to the masses that is. (posting on a website that is accessed by a variety of people through out the globe is a good example).

now that I know that, it's a nice double entendre... I'm still not very partial to using tragic death as a prop, especially so soon. But that's me.

Now, what similarity have you noticed between aussie rappers? they all suck?

hahaha! Walked into that one... /chiding/kidding

but back off topic: Last time I was in Australia it cost 10 bucks just to get into a club...with a DJ. They still doing that ridiculous shit there?

Yeah, it's kinda cute. But not enough to overcome its dumbassness. It wouldn't've been so bad without the video though. It just launched it way over the line of what I can enjoy watching, and I'm an Eminem fan, so the line is pretty far out there.

Speaking of, notice how many times Eminem says "Nigga."

But, from an outdated Freudian psychoanalytical point of view, it explains pretty much everything.

That's very true - but with one notable exception - The Hilltop Hoods.
The rest, as far as I can tell are truly bloody awful.

He said nigger once but he apologized so I guess he's just a pussy and not a racist.

Really Denyer... big deal, you can type shit. What's your point? It'd be a lot different if you were black, but how can you attempt to take ownership over a racial slur to remove it's power if you are not of the racial group that is being stigmatized by said slur??

Folks, can't we all just get along? There's a simpler way to resolve this. Like informing the BBC that they were named in the credits along with the producer (Pigpen) for the photography. I'm pretty sure their legal department is more than capable of assisting with who may be right or wrong.

Even with the removal of said credit to the BBC, which was legally unapproved of I'm sure, there will be plenty of issues for Mr. Pigpen to contend with concerning the re-use and publication of BBC property without their expressed written consent. That is if someone or a group of someones were to inform the BBC.

Yeah but some folks have kind of gotten back into it in the last page. I'm with you though, I was over it as soon as I finished reading page 5 for the most part. But it does continue to go on.

How about the Road Kill Grill thing though. Man is that "Beverly Hillbillies" or what? Lord never let me be that hungry.

On that note though I was at this "Rib America" thing a couple of weeks ago. Ted Nugent had played the night before and I ran into this guy I kind of know and we got to talking about how he eats only meat he kills and the like. Anyway, the jist of this guy's point was that Nugent looks so healthy because of the freshness of the meat and the still live enzymes contained in said meat.

So there's the new topic, discuss.

whoa. I'm not actually all choked at Denyer here... just commenting on his "nigga is stoned" joke. And at the same time, pointing out the FACT that the whole point to people using that word was to take the power from those who used it as a racial slur. It seems pretty dumb to use it if your white, no matter what your hiphop heros do...cause it defeats the entire purpose. If your're really against the whole concept of racism...and seriously, what intelligent rational arguement can be made FOR it??? Then you'd respect the fact that the word caused a lot of grief and pain.

So, really, I'm not jumping on the Denyer is a racist bandwagon here. But , as much as I support derailing the thread for the amusement of all, I want to be clear about something here. I find the concept of racism incredibly RETARDED. AS IN BACKWARDS. I can see no logic in it. Just hate for hate's sake. Now, both Pigpen and Denyer are not racists. that must be clear to everyone.

But man, that video DID wind me up...cause it came off, whether intended or not, as offensive on a few levels. And at songfight, EVERYONE tends to express their opinions, hell, by the very nature of this community. And fer chrissakes Dan-o...you as the peacemaker? Are you fuckin kidding me???? lol!

Stranger things have happened. I know it's not my nature, but my wife is trying to get me to revert to my prior more Zen like ways. Karma, Yin-Yang and all that. Admittedly I'm still working on it, but I'm trying.

I love you man.

I love all you guys.

There I said it.
