It's ironic, the fight with the shortest deadline will be left up for a week and a half.

Drums sound good—but it’s been said I don’t know much about good drum sounds. This is really growing on me throughout the song. Great harmonies. I find the lyric a little disturbing—who’s getting the back of your hand?
Sober Irishman
This genre really doesn’t speak to me. The vocals are really gruff, but they sound artificially so. And I can’t stand fade outs. But that’s just me.
Phunt your Friends
There’s a rhythm thing at :57 that I actually kind of dig. If that were looped and you dropped the vocals onto that, I could get with it. But, sigh, you’re not writing songs for me, I think. Even though the guitar may be out of tune just a bit—just a tiny, tiny tiny bit—and there’s that horrendous hum, I like this more than any other Phunt song. I can understand it’s a song, where I’ve never felt that way about a Phunt song before.
Klownhole
Interesting enough music, but I’m having trouble getting into the vocals. I dig the music more and more as it goes on. I hope that “really really creepy and disturbingâ€

I haven't licked anyone in like... two months. And he wasn't that tasty which was a complete shame cuz we were in an Italian Restaurant at the time.Mogosagatai wrote:Yep.the idiot king wrote:that would be hysterical.
So... is it?
..come to think about it, he tasted like tequila and salt.

tequila at an italian restaurant? obviously his priorities were skewed and he didn't deserve to be licked at all.

Basket of Hands: Not Beck.
Divorce Skol: Jute Gyte's Foam Rubber is this song, but way cooler. This is still kinda cool though. It's a bit muddy, scoop out something on either the bass or the kick. There's also not a lot of sparkle to the cymbals and hat stuff. Maybe try a different mp3 encoder, 160kbps shouldn't be cutting that much high out. Cool backwards-stuff break.
Flying Brick: Fantastic drum sound. If your voice was a big ballsy SRV or something, this would be awesome, but it's not. It's also painfully obvious where you chopped your loops.
Klownhole: Been a while. You and Starfinger are cut of the same fabric. Real drums? I think I can hear the chain on your double bass pedal. Great tempo changes. The mix doesn't seem to mesh somehow. The guitar on the right seems louder. Definitely cool.
Melvin: Bubblegum. This feels like it deserves more than a 4-peice treatment. A big string swell in the chorus, right when you hit that clashy minor chord would be cool. Ooh, buzzing at the end, what's all that? Anyway, well executed, even if it's not my thing.
Phunt your Friends: I guess I'm not cool enough to think this is cool.
Smalltown Mike: B4! Yay! British ska-punk, awesome. Double that guitar, son. And put some high on that bass. And dirty that bass. And drink half a bottle of Jager before you sing this. I hope this song wins.

- And no, the drums aren't real, whoever asked.
