So these are the latest band of the moment over here, the darlings of the media.

But for once, they are totally deserving of it. Really. You can check out the video to their latest 'Bet You look Good on the Dancefloor'

HERE - WMV or HERE - MPG

. I notice they're about to play their first gigs in the states. So go and see them while you can still get in.

Mon 14 Toronto, Lee's Palace
Tue 15 New York, Mercury Lounge
Wed 16 New York, Mercury Lounge
Fri 18 Los Angeles, Spaceland
Sat 19 San Francisco, Popscene

No, I don't work for them. I am enamoured.

popscene seems to be the San Francisco spot where the Brits roll out their latest. I remember Kaiser Cheifs played there not too long ago.

I was totally unimpressed with the video and song. Ugh.

Ah well, maybe it won't translate transatlantically then. Hope they do!

Yeah, I just heard these guys on Aurgasm, and was kind of underwhelmed. I was surprised, because I'd heard a lot of good things about them, and I usually go for indie rock. Just not this time, I guess.

It took a couple of months but this damn song finally grew on me. I just think they did a crappy live performance. The studio version is better and has a lot more energy.
