Video games, etc.

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

has anyone ever played any of the harvest moon series? that game seems like it would be so boring, but it somehow makes farming fun... and you get to get married!

and while i'm on the topic of games that should be boring, but arent, animal crossing has probably stolen several days of my life.

Ooh! I played Animal Crossing yesterday at my friend's house (hurrah for friends with little brothers who have tonnes of videogames for systems you don't have). Such a fun game.

I concur. There's just something about farming, wooing the local girls and manipulating the townsfolk.

I just got the Sonic Mega Collection PLUS for PS2. Man those old games are hard. Doesn't help that the Genesis controller was totally different than the PS2's (what with having a decent d-pad and so on).

Still, wow.

Got a DS and Castlevania today. Super fun.

Also, I am posting the following in advance because I know I will be too engrossed to do so when I actually receive it:

Now for a related thread ... Fluffy is the (1977) John Travolta of Songfight!

Hey Battlefield Earth: (A Saga of the year 3000....sic!) was a sadly misguided excercise, but you got to admit fat JT (over)acted his socks off...and with those platform boots those were big socks to act out of! Totally deserved his many wins in the Razzies that year...though what that has to do with your love and addiction of DDR I don't know ;-)

Tony Hawk's new game proved no challenge. Story and Classic modes beaten in hours.

It's pretty fun.

I picked up FFX-2 a couple weeks ago, and that game is delightful. I realize I'm a good year behind, but it's dang delicious.
