We still haven't settled on a due date.
If you are in the Gift of Music 2005, please vote in this poll. Indicate when you think the due date should be.

Before Christmas! Unless you're also willing to wait until then to open your presents as well (presuming your religion doesn't have an entirely different date anyway. I dunno.)

I don't know, December 19th of 2006 gives us a LOT of time to get our songs done! Until next YEAR even!

I'm for 1/9, but a HARD 1/9. Issue a two week warning, and a one-week warning, and then post what's submitted on 1/10 with big old LATE tags next to the names of those who don't comply. Bwa ha ha!
I will eat these words sometime around 1/8.

I'm with Jim on requesting a hard deadline. Whatever the date is, please don't leave the on-time songs in limbo.

I'm in school right now and dorm room recording is way too hard to do well, so I can't actually start any earlier than December 16th.
So January ninth is an absolutely fantastic deadline as far as I'm concerned.
