I see no problem with late entries, myself.

In FACT: I asked Frankie if he would be cool with me adding some elements to his "Dig A Pony" cover, since it's a Beatles track that I really enjoy. He said he was fine with it, and here is the result:

I tried doing a song. I tried One After 909, I Am the Walrus, Because, and a few others but I was not satisfied with how I sounded on any of them. Well, here's some thoughts on the other songs, anyway.

Frankie: Both of your tracks are very good. I'm a big Beatles fan... I know people say that and they like don't even know half the albums... but I'm a big Beatles fan and I don't think I ever enjoyed listening to Dig a Pony before your cover, and I mean that sincerely. Officially I still have a trade embargo on you (you know why) but off the record you did very well with both of them.

Glenn: I started listening to this and I said "oh, Glenn covered the single version of 'Revolution.'" But I was mistaken! But it does sound rather like it, doesn't it? It rocks hard, anyway. Nice additions to Pony as well.

Merisan: This is one of my favorite Lennon tracks and I really really love what you've done with it. The bridge kind of bugged me in the original but I don't mind it here and it actually sounds kind of nice to hear something a little dissonant there.

Dan-O, etc: This is fun to listen to. It totally sounds like the kind of music that the hippies up here would like to sway around to, reeking of patchouli. I think that must have been what you were going for... right?

Roymond: I liked what you did with this too. Some pretty enchanting stuff herein.

That's really nice, thank you. I don't know why I chose this song--it just came to me in the car one morning. I tried to slow it down and accentuate the bluesiness of it. It's a little long as a result and a little spare without the harmonies and whatnot, but I enjoyed playing and singing it.
