Yeah, "Experimental Love" always throws me off too. I'm actually listening to Magnetic Fields' "Why I Cry" right now, which is an amazing song (and is featured on one of my favorite episodes of Pete and Pete).

That one is at least short. You're right, can't say I'm crazy about that song. However, it doesn't really bother me. I also am not wild about Washington D.C. either..but can get through it pretty painlesslessy.

The one I absolutely do not like is 'Love is Like Jazz'. That one actually rakes my nerves a little bit.

I absolutely ADORE the rest of the songs though. Very nice to relax to. I even put it on in the morning when I wake up. Helps me ease into conscienceness.

I think I really like the consistancy. It's nice to put it on and everything that comes out of my speakers is a nice slow to medium pace.

I a weird (to me ) kinda syncronicity, Johnny Cashpoint came up on my shuffle followed by the Clash.

Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not...

I can't remember which tunes I'm afraid.

But still, I thought that was kinda cool...

Ok, so I just heard Guided by Voices' "Surgical Focus" for the first time a few minutes ago on my iPod. Since then I've listened to it four more times in a row. Holy cow. That guy could really write a pop song when he put his mind to it. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM good.

Tom Waits is fantastic. Am I right. Today I have listened to these songs for the first time:
I Don't Wanna Grow Up
Ice Cream Man
Ol' 55
Heartattack and Vine

and they are all fantastically awesome.

Just don't catch them live, it'll break your heart. But I'll always have time to lie on my floor listening to "Fox in the Snow."

Dude, this is not something you say out loud. ESPECIALLY YOU.

(Whats funny is that I have a crapload of their mp3s and just recently listening to The Magnetic Fields totally reminds me of them)
