Luke Henley, you are a strange man.
In odd synchronistic news, the Prius is supposed to arrive at the dealer today. We'll see!
Also, my entry is in. Hope you like it, Mr. Plat.

I can honestly say that I would not have recognized any of the 4 songs, had I not known that they were the songs that I requested. I definitely need to give you guys some serious credit for re-interpretation, and covering all four!

Eddie: there was a second song in my private message to you, but it's not in the page. Let me know if you need to re-send it.

ROCK!

I do! Just got finished dancing the robot to it. Or at least a very poor interpretation of the robot. :-) Thanks; I'm thrilled to have a new and different (yet still musical) interpretation of it!

Oh my god, that's a fucking rad song and that would be the most obliterating tour EVER. We could call it "Double D's of Doom."

Awesome job, Leaf. I was listening to this as I walked to the train station from work, and I was grinning like a fucking idiot the whole way.

Thats a good thing.

Glenn (and Rachel), thank you for the song! I know it's just a one take recording and that Rachel is really supposed to be singing, which will be awesome, but this one is still great! I really can't wait until your neighbors move out! But, no worries, I completely understand the bad neighbor situation! Thank you so much for not leaving me empty handed! You guys rock!

Also: J$, great artwork. Just the thought of Nazareth receiving a keytar made my morning.

Also also: Rabid Garfunkel, you picked the one song on my list I was secretly rooting for. I'm downloading it now, and can't wait to hear it. Thanks so much!

Oops that'll teach me to finish my song super-early - sent a pm months ago, must'a got lost in the rush

Stueym - Tainted Love by Johnny Cashpoint.

Enjoy!

I also have a little extra present for Bill Heuristics, which I will put up when I get home. And talking of home, I can't wait to get there and hear 15-16 Puzzle tackle Buzzcocks - that is a match made in GOM Heaven!

I had never heard this song or custard before, but as I learned the song, it became more and more brilliant in my mind!

I imagined that he/they may have written this tune as a desperate ode to a female that was never gonna come back.. he's all like "but baby, I got a new apartment, I got a line on a job, I got a new singer!!! when you coming over????"

So I tried to put that vibe in there... the tune's been in my head for the last few days!! So I'm gonna have to check out more custard now! I'd never have heard them probably if not for you!

Glad you dig!

PLAT: The cure cover is fantastic! Smith probably would do it this way now ! The solo... dead on, or at least it sounds dead on, so yeah!

I've heard only five tunes so far, and all are great... keep listening...

EDIT: Can't get Luke's Cars cover to open... wtf?
