I've been to that site before..it might have even been linked in earlier versions of monkey affairs...but the really bad music (taht I'm not signing up to download the full version of) was a pleasent addition since my last visit.

and yes, you have to play the 30 second sample while watching the flash.

I must tell you all about the strange dream I had last night.

Well part of it anyway. I went to Waterstones (big UK book chain like Borders if you don't have them in the States) - they have black and burgundy fittings, so it's quite dark and austere.

Anyway, Josh Woodward worked there, in charge of running the Crime Fiction section. In my dream he was about five foot three, and had short bright orange curly hair. And he slouched a lot. Dream-Josh seemed quite nice, actually.

Don't worry, Josh, it wasn't a sexual dream! I have no idea what it signifies, but just thought I'd share.

First thing to know about dream interpretation is that you need to recognize that you did in fact NOTICE certain symbols in your dream. You did that, you noted details that stuck out to you. Hmm thanks Hoblit! In a one-off looking at it a-fresh, what leaps out is 'crime section' the 'orange hair' and the 'slouching'. The books thing in general has a huge significance since my degree is in English lit. and I still work in the arts. I do love browsing in bookshops for hours, just wandering around, and although I don't read a lot of crime, I had been writing all about sci-fi/horror in the books thread (and often here the three sections are together) so maybe there's some incidental detail there too ...

Am a rabid reader of Scientific American Magazine.
The last issue had the best article about music and the brain.
A must read, if you want to know, what the hell goes through peoples brain when they listen to your music.
Bellow is the online version, without the cool easy to understand illustrations though, like the ones found in the magazine, still worth reading.

Just wanted to mention that 'the lost battlalion' is on 'The History Channel' right now. Half over for those in EST. It's a great movie. Rick Shroeder is in it. (and yes, that IS a selling point for anyone who remembers him AFTER silver spoons)

It's a movie about a true story that involved some extreme order calling in the last few weeks of WWI.

It's really really good. I highly recommend it.

Hey, you should do this more often. This is pretty good. Although your recording in general has gotten a lot better since you showed up here, I'd like to hear you sing like this more often.

wow glad ya like it... i may see what i can do...
i was home alone though... usually i can't sing like that... cause well people asleep... and too many people home and what not... so it kinda hinders singing however i wish...
