hm. i could've sworn 930pm EST was 230am GMT. crap. are we in EST or EDT right now? i'm lost.
Damn. That's rather limiting what with neighbours dogs and their smallville hearing. I guess a midi headphoned whispered rap thingy might work.

well, another way to do it would be for those with time problems to schedule a more convenient event, and we could call it "skirmish around the world" multi-event or something like that.

You mean, a different time on the same day ... but that would be sacriligeous, wouldn't it? you could have different, themed titles. And dancing girls at the half-time interval.

yeah something like that. i think it's ok to be sacriligeous to something that Sober came up with.

regardless, we're still going at 9:30 tomorrow night.

There's an increased chance that I may tarnish this event with my presence. Were all the timing issues straightened out? Is there some sort of handshake via IRC before it starts?

In the past, yeah, we were in IRC previous to hear the title announced ASAP. It should also be posted to this forum as well.

what do you think about not having a restriction tonight?
it seems unnecessary.

i think that's a good idea. i mean, we trust that regular songfight submissions were written/recorded within that week, so i don't see that this is much different. plus, people have been talking about only being able to do instrumentals or whatever, and it might just complicate things too much.

Well, I just happen to have a flexi-day today (I love working for the government. 9 day fortnights rule!). See you at 1230 Brisbane time.
Let's do it.

Anyone who wants to, should mention the phrase 'Johnny Cashpoint is a sex god.' Sadly I have been out and am therefore too tired/drunk to particpate. Bon chance a tout.
