this is shaping up to be a real big group thing :)
the group of us should probably make an email list or something.

looks like i will be needing a drummer for my stuffs. i will probably also run some percussiony things (particularly effected ones) from the laptop.

oh, here's another question. do people normally sell cds at these events?

Oh, also, I can play synths on things for people. I don't think I mentioned this before. However I don't really read music per se, so keep that in mind :)

What kind of audience will there be at this show? Just friends and family or what.

Friends of Bjam (obviously I am Billy-No-Mates so I have no friends :-))
Partners and accompanees of other SF'rs that are coming
Bjam and I will be making up some posters for very local distribution in the area to advertise that the event is happening so we will welcome walk up audience.

If anyone would like to use their graphic capabilities like abecedarian did for LA otherwise we will use the exquisite artisitic skills of Bjam (queen of many talents!)

With regards to costs our plan was to charge $5 for adults and $4 for students. SF'rs obviously get in for free but contributions will be very welcome if we are a little short in covering the immediate cost.

If anyone wants to pimp their merchandise at the event that's absolutely fine by us.

I generally write Brick Pig as two words. I am fine with my assigned timeslot.

Thank you.

For what it is worth, I'm coming down just for the fun of it and will happily play any instruments as may be needed. I do ask that you let me know beforehand so I have a few moments to learn what I should be doing.

Also, merchandise isn't all that common but if you have CDs or T-shirts or comic books or whatnot, bring 'em along for sale. It's never been a problem in the past.

Rockingness...

Excellent. I will be playing under my usual "group" name of "The Landfills" (w/o the quotes, of course... *smile*).

My timeslot rocks. If I need to be flexible, that rocks, though, too. In general, just getting to hang out, see everybody, and do a couple songs, regardless of the time slot, rocks.

Thanks for all your work in puttin' this show together. Did I mention that this is gonna rock?

That would rock. TVIYH has offered to play bass, and Bjam has offered to do the guitar bit, so w/ you onboard I think I've got things covered for a "The Landfills" "Too Goth to Rock" moment.

Oh, yes. I will count to four.

I go by this: Heuristics Inc. (with capital I and .)
The US Trademark Office may list that the . is not part of my name, but I do generally use it.
My timeslot is good. I see we have clipped to 15mins now, so I'll have to trim my setlist a bit too. I think I know what I'll drop.

Yeah. Lots more people than previously thought. And we figured we'd give a large amount of time for screw ups and any time problems we may encounter. Bring some music for the end of the night, and if you feel like an inpromptu song, and there's time left, we can all have a group singalong. :D

Can you tell I'm paranoid that we'll run out of time? :P

that's fine; invariably nearly everything will take longer than you expect it will.

How about "Tiny Room"? I can bring my fiddle (I promise to keep the volume down) and we can divvy up some harmony vocals. I'm hoping to get together with Bethany beforehand to rehearse some stuff so maybe we can work that out then.

Bjam and I discussed and I am totally up for some rehearsal (remote and on the day) to put together a bigger sound for some of your stuff. I was also thinking of adding another verse to 'fresh dog' and looking for volunteers. You up for it?
