You should listen to the Hell Yeahs' first (and my least favorite) song The Spirit World. It's not death metal, but it's screaming...Jarsh wrote:ok. I'm waiting for the deathmetal girl screaming....

Doscientos: Woah, this whole tune is shrill is heck. Cute, but hard to listen to. Too much reverb, maybe.
Eidolon: The guitar intro needs something to prop it up, some odd timey hookey something. Naked, it just evokes Alice in Chains. If you had started the tune with what happens at :34, I'm sure you'd have caught a lot more ears. The whole song is pretty straightforward but listenable. Good effort, avoid the box progression in the future.
HYEAHS: If your drummer was real, he'd have 24" forearms.
Melvin: Liked this one a little more than usual, altho, as always, it sounds like a songwriting exercise more than a song.
Stateshirt: Needed rapping. The poppy change is cute, but the whole tune runs the line between disjointed and engaging.
Subatoms: Maybe I'm just a sucker for PIxies ripoffs, but who isn't? By far my favorite song in the fight. The trashy guitar sound is great, and the song is full of hooky fun.
