let me rephrase:

this is the coolest thing i ever missed out on only to find out about later and sincerely regret having missed.

Hopefully one of these days I will actually be able to record a skirmish song before the deadline. I was still working out some rough spots in the lyrics and melody when I ran out of time (had the same problem with Prayer For Pancakes). If I can do a quick recording (guitar and vocal) later this week I'll go ahead and post a link.

It was fun listening to these and hearing what everyone can do with a title with only one hour. I'll have to give everything another listen before putting in a vote. I love that Caravan Jason mix.

I had a quick listen, and my vote went to Caravan Ray.

All the songs were awesome though. An hour can do wonders.

Ok, so I'm not sure it was worth the effort, but I put some compression on the vox and mastered this thing, and here it is:

Also, it looks like Bovine Recyclery is the winner with a Future Boy runner-up.

Thanks for the votes y'all. I'm as surprised as you that I got lyrics and a song done in that time; usually it takes me a few hours on the lyrics alone.

I wish Caravan Jason were eligible, because I think that would've taken home the cake. A three-tiered one, with a picture of a beautiful day on top.

Some stuff go wong, some stuff go wight...
