you know what ross's song reminds me of? steve martin's "king tut." weird.

Yay! A vote.

I don't feel I was complaining so much as putting forward the view that style (in clothing) is not established by the clothes as much as by attitude and celebrity.j$ wrote:

Holy crap. Before anyone says anything to the contrary, I have to say, in all honesty. we did not cheat to win. The only thing we did was post a note to our myspace friends to go to the site and Vote. we didnt specify vote for us, in fact we even noted that they should vote for whoever they like the best, and vote on all three races. So yeah, we were just trying to spread the word about songfight, cuz we think it's awesome, not solicit votes. And from the looks of it, it got a lot of new people checking out the page, and hopefully they'll come back. This is truly an honor for us, and we'll totally be back. and thanks for all the reviews. Now we know what to work on in the future. Songfight RULES!!!!

Congratulations on the win. I, for one, didn't think you cheated.DJ TJ Maxxx wrote:The only thing we did was post a note to our myspace friends to go to the site and Vote. we didnt specify vote for us, in fact we even noted that they should vote for whoever they like the best, and vote on all three races. I do think there is a certain naiviety in the above way of thinking, but I don't want to risk spoiling the mood by reiterating it, especially when [sacrilege] I preferred the winning song, on this occasion, to that submitted by your closet rival in the votes tally[/sacrilege].
Although what do the Motor Monkies have to do to get a few more votes round these parts? Their last two songs have been awesome and I wish the voting reflected that a bit more. Maybe I should stop liking them. Seems to work for most bands I rave about!

You're gonna hate me for telling you this, but I listened to the songs late last night, and *tried* to vote for yours. In my half-asleep, blurry visioned state, I mixed up 'octothorpe' and 'obscurity', and only when I saw 'Your vote for octothorpe has been recorded!' did I realise my error.obscurity wrote:Well, at least I didn't come last this time. Progress, I guess
So, I know it's not going to go down in the record books, but you can consider your vote count to be 5 and #'s to be 16. I wish there was a way to change your vote if you make a mistake.
