Note: you can feed any livejournal URL to your RSS reader by adding "/rss" to the end of the URL

You could even use RssFwd to have the feed updates sent to your email account. If you wanted.

I like how Wreckdom's squashed picture makes that big ole belly look like a big hanging sack.

In a non man on man kind of way.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Continue on. Nothing to see here...

I'm not familiar with rss readers. I'm on mac, I searched a little, but only found custom ones that show a certain site.

Can anyone advise me how to use this feature?

What browser are you using?

Im Mozilla, you can copy that RSS page linked a bit earlier, and go up to your bookmarks menu. Then go to Manage Bookmarks, File, New Live Bookmark, and paste the link into the location field. That should do it.

Thanks for the feedback. I got an rss reader, but it seems to have issues with the url as posted, is that working for others?

Edit: I got it to work by adding "/RSS.xml"

I posted this elsewhere, but it seemed fitting to post it here as well. Pardon the double post, for those who see both.

As you may already know, Rachael and I are buying our first home. Well, we got the keys yesterday!! Saying that we are excited is like saying water is wet.

I changed the locks and took 3 car loads of our belongings to the new place yesterday. The big stuff gets moved on Saturday, and we have a decent amount of help available. My plan is to get the majority of the move done before Saturday, so it's as painless as possible for our helpers.

I CAN NOT WAIT TO START USING MY NEW MUSIC ROOM!!!! :D

Cable internet should be up and running on Wednesday afternoon. I can still access Songfight from work, thankfully, so my first Nur Ein entry should be one of the first things recorded in my new space!

So, yeah... We're stoked to say the least.

ROCK!

So I'm not sure what this says about my mental health, but I dreamed last night that a title had been announced. It was somethign like, "Prngpang" or something. All I could think was, well that's the sound a guitar makes. Within a day several fighters had already submitted songs (some had submitted two!) But I was, of course, stymied. I hope I wasn't going to write, "Everybody have fun tonight."

The Nur Ein site is blocked by the firewall at my workplace. Any chance you could post the title here as well. Otherwise I get a 7 hour handicap.

Thanks.

Oh, and the trivia thing as well, if that's been posted.

Challenge = handclaps?!?!

Are you kidding me? Why oh why couldn't I have found out about Nur Ein sooner? Is it weird to be so obsessed w/ handclaps? I don't know, but based on that fact alone I think i'm gonna like every song posted this week.

Immunity is now closed!!!!

KEN has earned immunity! Good work.

The correct answer was Lesley Gore. Her song "It's My Party" was a #1 hit in 1963. But she didn't reveal her sexual preference (though it wasn't exactly a secret) until late in her career.

It's Ken's party and he can sit back and wait until Stage 2. All the rest of you can cry cause you missed your chance at immunity. The battle continues. NUR EIN!!!!

OK so I have a moan.
How can you possibly just post an immunity question without telling people when it's going to be posted?(not that I knew the answer).

I know we have a time difference problem, but I'd be willing to get up a 4.00am if I knew that's when the damn immunity question would be posted...

Sheesh! Ken must have just happened by when you announced the title... Which I have to admit is rather good.

Oh, and well done Ken :)
