Hey, congrats Thornberry on the well-deserved immunity.
And congrats Juror #1 on the successful surgery. I mean, I've read about the procedure, but seeing it first hand, the way those doctors implanted your head in your ass, is a testament to modern medicine.

Hey you leave Juror #1 alone, man knows what he's talkin' about.deshead wrote:And congrats Juror #1 .....head in your ass
2 Questions:
Did I miss a public announcement of 4 judges instead of 5?
At the end do we find out who's who?
It's an honor to be where we are, no seriously, I dang near dampened my pants when I saw it. Good luck everybody, but uh, not too good.

Congratulations to all, especially Thornberry on his top spot and immunity, though I doubt he'll need it.

Congrats Thornberry, and congrats to WreckdoM and Leaf, with whom I share 2nd place
No rhymes allowed this round? Hoo boy. This is tougher than I thought. I'm so conditioned to write rhyming lyrics that I'm finding it a chore to make sure they don't this time.
[edit] I don't even know who J. Mascis is

Is this right?Niveous wrote:I will have to consult the rest of the jury but I can venture a guess that tail rhymes are not allowed but assonance and consonance are fair game.

With deep regret I am going to have to announce my withdrawal.
In the next three weeks I will be away from home (ability to play/record/mix) 4 nights a week.
That plus my obvious misintepretation of what this means:
I am doing this now so that there might be a chance for someone to jump into the slot from the reserve list.
I was really enjoying this and thought the first weeks 5 days was a round 1 anachronism, but with my the way my job works, I can't keep to a 5 day turnaround. Enjoy everyone, cos this competition is driving out some stellar music!

Each fight will take 8 days to complete...
March 10 - Due Date 15 March at 1pm EST (5 days)

Boo! Sorry to hear you're dropping out, Stu.
As I understood it, the eight-day cycle was 5 days to submit, and three days for the judges. Although I think they only took two days to judge round one.
And even though I get no vote on such matters, here's my accurately-valued 'two cents': I wouldn't allow anyone to take the spot in Stueym's stead. Uneven footing and all that. I'd just eliminate Stueym during the round two cuts for not submitting.
