when you employ the personal pronoun "I", it can act as a subject of the sentence. i dont know how you got confused into thinking i was speaking for everyone.

It has to, actually. (Unless it's instead the subject of a dependent clause.)
Liechty wrote:i dont know how you got confused into thinking i was speaking for everyone.
Perhaps it was that you didn't say "Actually I would encourage stuff like that", and instead said that "stuff like that is encouraged", which, since you didn't say by whom, should be read with an implied "by some unnamed entity, presumably determinable by context".

And, since the context is that Screamin Ike had just said "I hope you all like it" (note the "you all"), I'd say jb had more reason than not to assume you were speaking for everyone.

This ain't an attack, just the truth.

So I just finished the tracks for Jeff Robertson's I don't want to be your friend ... sorry J$, I won't be able to do your tracks for your other songs ... my drums are taken town tomorrow, and I barely had time for Jeff's. I got about 3 takes when I hadn't even heard the song before, so it's not exactly a stellar performance, but don't blame Jeff for that.

Weird how c layne, Max the Cat, TV's Kyle and 8-legged Oedipus (well I am assuming - a splatter of reviews from him pre-cursored brief return last time, as I recall) should turn up all on the same weekend. maybe there's something to this bio-rythm (sorry can't spell it, haven't got it) thing after all. maybe there's a prison for people who lose interest in getting lots of votes and winning fights and things and they're only allowed out once a year.

Well I for one can't wait not to listen to any of them. Bwah & a ha & a ha ha ha. etc

I am indeed involved with a fight this week, and it's the ever-popular "Up All Night." Although, there is no prison for SF has-beens as J$ postulates. However, there is a prison called "no broadband access" from which I have finally escaped.

So - you've started to play mind games with the other Nur Einers by doing simultameous regular fights as well!

Haha, success!

Actually, I did finish my Nur Ein entry pretty early (Saturday morning). And I honestly tried to spend that extra time refining the sound of my 'Like A Villain', but everything I tried seemed to make it sound worse. So I needed a diversion, in order to stop tampering with a song I was actually pretty happy with.
And besides, it's been like four months or something since I entered a regular fight. People were probably starting to think me antisocial or something.
To that I say: I Don't Want To Be Your Friend. ;)

so let's say there's a much-respected songfighter who's making an AAD today and would love to record a song for songfight during said AAD... it would be really helpful to this person if new titles were announced and soon :)

It's painfully obvious that I once again will be in the most popular song of the 3. The SF Gods are upset with me... why?! lol
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D
