Homosexuality can be both a choice and a genetic predisposition. Biology is not a binary science. There is an element of choice in every human action, often in spite of predispositions.

But that has nothing to do with attacking someone for a sexual preference. The issue is the attack, not your opinions on the topic or sexuality itself, but that you'd go out of your way to go right for lowest possible ad hominem in a review.

Have some minimum of class, dude. It is part of the integrity of the site that we keep our feelings about each other as people out of our feelings about the music. Disrespecting that, more than anything else, makes you a piece of shit.

Having been involved in the gay community, moreso on the periphery, such as a gay marriage tv show (sound recordist), with many friends in the gay community (professional and social), and working in theatre as a technician (ofcourse everyone in theatre is not gay) I'd have to say that Crates avatar with his white tank top and NSync haircut is a gay man in the making. I have a lot of friends who would eyeball you oh lovely otter (I found out an otter is a gay man with not a lot of body hair, whilst a bear is a gay man with loads of it).

If you ever have the inkling of coming to Toronto Crates I implore you to hit the gay district. In fact I'll take you there sailor. Level Nivelo

Level Nivelo is, according to his artist biography (which is inconsiderately prefaced with a picture of him naked and clutching his testes as if they're about to hose him down at the state pen), best described as "a pioneer in the genre of baroque homo-pop."

While I'd hardly call him any kind of pioneer, I can certainly agree that his music is indeed Gay with a capital G. Richard-Simmons-getting-gang-banged-by-Dame-Edna-Ricky-Martin-and-the-entire-cast-of-Queer-Eye-for-the-Straight-Guy-all-at-once-Gay.

To make matter's worse, Nivelo is yet another artist whose speakers were turned up to Deafen the Neighbors before he recorded... because at any other setting, the track is practically inaudible.

We put up with your shit twenty five times before. Now please, for the sake of common decency, give it a rest.

No matter how well you argue the nature of homosexuality, you've failed to address the original issue. The "TOTAL" of Level Nivelo's song does not, in fact, equal "FAG". Retroactively defending the notion that being gay is bad does not make your review any more helpful or relevant. You were frequently wrong in your attempt at recounting the history of each participant in the Covered in Bugs fight, and your rather spotty play-by-play of each song was relatively bumbly. That said, it was more helpful than this sort of nonsensical review.

While lots of people aren't that good at reviewing, this review in particular is worthless and offensive at the same time: a double-win.

2) To de-bunk your claim that a person's sexual preference is the by product of a lack of self respect, and therefore deserving of your disdain.


Your point about anal sex being gross is entirely legitimate, you are entitled to that opinion.

Your point about the twins study is fine, it's interesting, but it actually changes nothing in the discussion. You put a tremendous amount of energy into that post, and it was well written, but it doesn't justify your claim that gay sex is a by-product of a lack of self respect. It is a classic red herring, and there is no need to focus on that point, as it does not speak to your original arguement that has caused an uproar.
