I am boycotting Songfoght Live.
Because of the imbicilic nature of web communities in general.
I encourage the public to withdraw patronage of ANY and ALL supporters of non-democratically owned and governed web communities.
AMEN

I'll probably be there. Half-expect a Hot Tub Combo/Luke Henley performance.

Moboid and I have purchased plane tickets, so we are now committed. We still need to figure out where we are staying in SC. I like the idea of a beach house but we will only be in town for two days. So, we'll see.

I have my tickets. I am arriving into Oakland on Wednesday night and leaving on Sunday, so there should be time to practice if I can find a place and a band.
So far, Crash and Spudnut are not coming, fluffy is iffy (see previous post), and Mad Dog is unemployed again. Shit. What am I gonna do, play the extended dance mix of "Is It Cold"?

My ticket fell in my lap fluffy.
We had tickets to Oakland for the 24th of July for Laura's reunion with her orphanage mates. Then my grandmother died, and her memorial service is on the 24th of July, so we had to cancel. Laura and Amy changed theirs to the beginning of August, when they are flying out of San Fran to go to Hong Kong, and I changed mine to the week of SFLive.
OK? Geez. My Grandmother dies, Laura has to miss her reunion, and now YOU are giving me grief.

Well then.
Anyway given my rate of recovery (I'm feeling a lot better now!) I'm sure I can make it. So half of Octothorpe and all of Sockpuppet will be there, at least.

Still no tickets booked, etc. But it's a possibility that I may be coming on my own. That said, will there be people willing to help with transportation? Hopefully everything will work out and I'll be able to come.

My parents and I are officially coming. (Hurrah for finding air miles and hotel points!) We'll only be there from Friday noon to Sunday morning though.

It looks very likely that The BeWells (my sister and I) will be there. Her schedule is open that week and I am right over the hill in Cupertino, so there's pretty much no good excuse for me to miss this one.
