Everybody covering the same song... the immortal "Convoy" by C. W. McCall.

Any interest?

Dude - have you no respect? That would be like painting a moustache on the Mona Lisa.

The classics deserve to left alone.

Y'know, a MovieThemeSongFight might be cool. About a dozen fun songs come to mind instantly.

Convoy's the greatest track. I'd maybe give it a stab.

Yes, yes. This is the right thing to do and the tasty way to do it. I had thought before a Red Sovine sidefight would be a good idea, but this kicks ass.

Oh, fuck yeah! Going to give it another week of hemming and hawing here, then we'll set deadlines and I'll get the rest of the hoody-hoo into line for the end product.

Rock on, y'all!

*bump*

Okey, it's a week later, there's interest (from people who do make some damnably interesting music!), so deadline a month, a month and change from now? Feeling a hump day date like 19 July for the magic moment would be viable. Anybody going on vacation that'd make that totally inconvenient for them?

Edit 7/19/2006--Well, obviously this is moot now. Tabled for the time being.
