What I love about this is that everyone has a different perspective on this thread and how it reflects on "songfight"...but REALLLYYYY it's only how it reflects on your intrepretation of songfight...
Every view is gonna be different, and every view will have some semblance of "right" and "wrong" to it.. case in point, for every person opposed to one guy's opinion, we can find those that support it.
So, I completely (big suprise, but respectfully) disagree with Erik's whole "don't add anything if it's nothing new" because when you post a comment, you are in effect, promoting two things.
1) Establishing a community standard. What the community that uses this particular web address as a gathering place democratically agrees are acceptable practice for this particular situation. If you say nothing, you are in fact, allowing something to occur..."silence is permission" may be a cliche, but it is also a cliche for a reason.
2) You are promoting change if required.
Look, letting it get buried means that this thread with Crates bullshit egomanical opinion then STILL exists, unchallenged, unquestioned. I can't personally stand for that, so I will state my opinion, which is as valid as the next persons, as valid as Erik's, or J$, or Crates.
Have fun, make jokes, but be respectful. If you cross a line, have the decency to say "sorry, I crossed a line". (you don't define the line, the other person does... you may not agree...so what. BE RESPECTFUL). Don't worry if they "haven't earned your respect" What an asshole concept... to demand others to prove their value and worth while assuming you can demand respect back without meeting your own fucking standards!! Grow up, read the golden rule, not to be christian, but to follow solid advice.
Crates, you are not my friend. Does this mean you are supposed to behave like an enemy right away?
Let's keep it to the music pal.
I listened to your stuff again...good production, and ideas that do not interest me. I won't listen again (to those two tunes) , not because it's you, but because it's boring, to me. Others will like it, I may like something you do in the future.
If you bring up the personal stuff again, you only out your true feelings, and those feelings are rooted in contempt and hate. You don't get to define how you are perceived, it is defined based on your actions, by others. Deal with it. Don't like it? Post differently. One thing about your music that is good... it says something much different than your posts do.
Oh yeah, anyone else who says "don't tell me what to do, but do this" can kiss my ass, hopefully, one day, in person.

But Leafy, Leafman you are neglecting the most important thing: is it a nice, round, tight ass?Leaf wrote:Oh yeah, anyone else who says "don't tell me what to do, but do this" can kiss my ass, hopefully, one day, in person.

Nope.erik wrote:Can you apologize for saying that you were going to keep your opinions to yourself, and then doing the exact opposite?
You know what? Very rarely do I go back on a statement I've made, or admit to having made a mistake... but if I said I was going to keep my opinions to myself, that was fuckin stupid of me. I never keep my opinions to myself.erik wrote:You said you were going to keep your opinions to yourself. Could you please do that? Not because you have to, but because you said you would.
Sounds delicious. Come by my place this february... we'll watch the game and I'll fix you a glass of go fuck yourself.fodroy wrote:crates, instead of drinking molson triple x at the next superbowl, how about trying a mixed drink? i'd suggest rum and arsenic.
Is anyone?erik wrote:To everyone who keeps adding comments to this thread intended for Crates to read, please ask yourself the following questions before posting again:
1) Are you saying something that hasn't already been said before?
Does that ever happen?erik wrote:2) Is what you're saying going to change the opininions of the intended audience?
Speak on your own behalf. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean that I'm the one who's misguided.erik wrote:3) Is what you're saying going to inflate the ego of someone who is misguided enough already about the importance of his thoughts and ideas?
Not likely.erik wrote:I hope that I'm the last person to add to this thread.
When you've seen everything all laid out in front of you... the cold, hard realities of human nature and the insignificance of each of our existances... there's little left to do but live in today.a bebop a rebop wrote:He went on a three-month long personal journey and came to the realization that he pretty much wants tits, beer and football. Hey, muh fuckin' Plato. Quit writing dissertations on my god damn message board. And further more what matters ain't what gets who off. What matters is people are gettin' off. And that's what makes life a beautiful thing. Not this talkin' with your mouth full. Of bullshit.

And just who the fuck are you? You've got less posts under your belt than me, and I've been here two fuckin months... I don't really think that qualifies you as the owner of this board, but whatever, we didn't need that to prove that you were ignorant since your post sounds like it was written by the autistic kid from Mercury Rising.Reggie Dallas wrote:Hey, muh fuckin' Plato. Which, for the record, was Bruce Willis' worst movie ever.

Just because you talkin' more doesn't mean the shit's worth saying. I know when to grant my wisdom and when to keep it to my own damn self. And let's not talk about what's below my belt, you'll just get depressed.Crates wrote:And just who the fuck are you? my favorite part is that this guy has it in his mind that he has once gone back in time. This tells me one of two things.
1. He in fact went back in time and was able to return safely.
2. He spent a day (week, month, year god help him) convinced he was back in time and probably came off as really really crazy person and everybody was probably a little freaked out by his presence. (AND he was armed)
If there are any other posibilities..then they probably involve you getting locked up in his basement and becoming his sex slave...I mean...if you were retarded enough to answer his ad.

I was looking for that particular picture, I wasn't aware it was connected to any fads. It was posted on uglypeople.com almost 5 years ago, and I downloaded it to my crappy laptop, and still have it (much bigger/higher res, too).
Problem is, my old laptop no longer has a way to get on the internet, has no writeable media drive, and no usb port. So there's pretty much no way for me to get anything off of it. Totally sadface.

But you better believe that gay couples (not counting LBD) are having a lot more sex* than straight couples, so I think it balances out.a bebop a rebop wrote:So, in absolute terms, there are a lot more straight dudes up the backdoor than gay guys.
