So far, we're doing much better than George Bush, who was DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED.

I guess in a way Oust the Mods is trying to bring democracy to SongFight! in sort of the same style that we are bringing it to Iraq, it seems to me.

Regardless of how long I spend here, I will probably always consider myself a newbie (noob? whatever!!) and at times don't feel able to comment on a lot of what goes on, But I'll tell you what SongFight! gives to me...

...the option for persons other that my long suffering family members to listen to my shitty attempts to make something vaugely listenable, those persons don't have to like it (and in most cases don't), but every so often someone states "hey you're not as bad as you were", which to me is like pure gold! For someone I don't know and will never know to take three minutes out of there lives and listen to some load of wank that I've perpetrated and then to let me know that it's a pile of wank, gives me the impetus to try harder, yeah I might still make a pile of wank, but maybe just maybe it might not be so bad next time...

...for that, to me I thank SongFight! for making it possible, and thank every single participant for taking time, I will never ever be as good as the vast majority of players here and feel honoured at times to even be in there presence.

SongFight! is the greatest anonymous person community not just on the internet, but anywhere, it works because its flawed, its great because its unpredictable, and some of its participants will go on to greater things.

By the way I've submitted another heap of shite this week, but hopefully it won't be as bad as the last heap of shite!

It's a weird epiphany the day that you no longer have the feeling you're a noob but it does eventually arrive.

Well said Spoons! I agree with that entire comment. I certainly could not have stated so well what you did, although it's exactly how I feel.
