I think I officially gave up on watching Adult Swim when they announced their 12 oz. Mouse New Year's Eve marathon. What a horrible show.

Still worth watching: Futurama, Family Guy, ATHF, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, Venture Bros., occasional episodes of Boondocks and Stroker and Hoop

Drove me away: Squidbillies, bad dubs of good anime

Beyond bad: Home Movies, 12 oz. Mouse

i personally like home movies. home movies is funny awkward.

and squidbillies is bearable. there at least a two or three somewhat humorous moments per episode.

Squidbillies is pretty stale. Robot Chicken is half genius, half bleh; kind of like SNL. I haven't seen more than the first two episodes of Perfect Hair Forever, because about that time the cable company woke up and realized that they fucked up and gave us cartoon network by mistake, and knocked us back down to network + shopping channels. But those two episodes were AWESOME. I have seen half a dozen or so 12 oz. mouse and I freaking love it, despite the fact that I have never in my life smoked a joint. Or had a beer, for that matter.

Home movies had to grow on me. But so did Sealab, I am embarrassed to say.

Home Movies is simply the funniest cartoon I've seen. It's the only show I've bought DVDs of because it never stops being funny.

You kids just must not get it.

I wonder how many times I've argued over Home Movies.

(I wonder how many people I've stopped liking because of it, as well.)

Metalocalypse is totally fully kickass. I watched the first ep twice last night. They use actual gibsons (Explorer, V, Firebird bass (thunderbird?).

Muy muy metal.

Totally. It's one of those shows that's just so strange that you can't help but think how much fun they had making it. Plus that Brendan kid. That's the story of creative life. Sort of. Except I don't make movies.

Home Movies is one of my favorite shows. Coach McGurk is one of the greatest characters animated characters ever. But by far my favorite adult swim show is Venture Brothers. Just plain genius. 8)

Allow me to second the Venture Brothers, and throw some more support toward Home Movies.

Why they have...

12 oz. Mouse
Squidbillies
Peewee
Minoriteam
Perfect Hair
Super Milk Chan
And basically all of the Anime

...I do not know.

I saw Korgoth at about 2:30 am last weekend, and I personally hated it. I don't know what Adult Swim's been doing since I last watched it, but it had better be better than this. I guess Korgoth is ok if excessive violence is still funny and edgy to you. Unfortunately, I'm bored with violence (Yes, desensitized American kid. I think it means we need to focus on something else.).

Let me agree with you on almost all of these shows.* But if Peewee is Peewee Herman, then let me just celebrate the fact that someone has decided to bring this show back.

*I have no idea what Super Milk Chan is.
I haven't been able to watch Adult Swim since April due to not having cable at my house up until just last weekend.

Apparently, you mistook my distaste for the show as a personal attack, which is not what it was. I'm just saying violence isn't exciting or funny. That's all.
