Well, I can see from the top of this thread that I've had these for about a year and a half now. They've become my go-to 'phones which is appropriate because they cost the most. I've had no plastic issues. I feel like I hear more extreme highs and lows than I should but that that mostly serves to make things sound better. And maybe that's more a commentary on my other gear. The only thing I don't particularly like them for is recording vocals because they make me feel kind of detached from my own voice.
Bottom line is that I wouldn't mind having a second pair of these around for when I'm recording someone else and I might bite on this deal (which goes to March 4, btw).
