Sell-A-Band

Post by roymond »

OK, I'm not endorsing this, just think it's an interesting business model. Raise $50,000 through direct fans and produce an album. Split the profits. Gotta be serious and motivated...and popular. But it's a cool way to get around a label. I guess they invest the moneys in the mean time.

Apparently someone's almost at $10,000. But that's a start.

How about all that money pledged by 'believers' that never reaches a total of $50,000? Seems like a nice little earner "in the mean time".
