Well, that was a good run. Took until my 31st entry but I got one with no votes. Guess I no longer qualify for that award! Who figured that out... Puce, maybe?
Thanks to all the reviewers this week - some definitely useful comments.

Nothing wrong with a zero - looks like there was nobody with any taste voting this week anyway  It's like feeding strawberries to a pig.

I voted for Eight Legged Oedipus, who I expected to receive more votes. I was glad just to finally have a song in a fight again after so long, and the kind reviews and votes were icing on the cake. Hopefully it won't take another two years for me to enter again. (I know! I'll do a 12 bar blues! ;) ) Anyway, thanks also to those who wrote songs I enjoyed this week.

Hmmm...got more votes than the amount of people i told to vote for me.
...and the people i tell to vote for me usually dont vote for me.

So i got anywhere from 5-9 legit votes!

Or possibly, you're reading the votes above your own, and you actually only got three, which would be covered by your standard vote request form?

Thanks for the reviews

I want to thank those of you who reviewed our tune. The win was a fluke. There were some much better songs than our entry. Next time, we will try and record a song with some instrument separation and we'll add some back round vocals.

Good luck to all this week. We couldn't get it together for "you get the wiser", although it does rhyme with Budwiser and Pfiser.

Unless you had all your friends and family vote for you, it wasn't a fluke. You had a solid, accessible song. Congratulations.

yeah it's not like 14 people accidentally vote for the same song so it wasn't a fluke unless you just told all your fans to vote for it so give yourself more credit man

I voted for Tam Lin Music, and I don't regret it. But I did expect someone to vote for Paco.

I was musing on the odd band names people pick while I was doing reviews the other day, but this morning while I was listening to Magical Mystery Tour, I'm pretty sure I heard the line:
"Semolina Pilchards climbing up the Eiffel Tower"

Maybe JB mistook the votes for spam votes, and deleted them.
