Not sure who picked this title, or if it was randomly generated, but is one of the most elegant titles to come out of songfight.

Nope, anybody interested. The only requirement is a drum kit and at least one mic. I just want to avoid drum machines and MIDI drums this time.

I was going to volunteer, but my drums are stuck in the garage for this week. Go ahead if you wish, wormsweater.

This is definatly a Rone song. Lyrics are always easier for me when it's a love song. Mwhahaha.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

I posted these lyrics in a different forum, then I read somewhere THIS was the place to post donations. Please let me know if you use these...

Beauty is a Burden

beauty is a burden she never wanted
no escape from the pawing testosterone
she tried to cut her face away
but the wounds heal, and she suffers alone

beauty is a burden when you don't have any
they will mock you and treat you like shit
you will cry, but you will soon realize
what "they" say is not always important

beauty is a burden she used to have
but now she's wrinkled as beauty fades
layers upon layers of Mary Kay
but it's not her face she must replace

beauty is a burden
but only by definition two
take your superficial beauty
and give me...
"Beauty. Noun. The quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality. "
...kind of beauty

Well, I'm dissapointed because I thought I started some pretty good lyrics, but I just don't think I'm gonna get a song done this week - too much else goin' on.

Just finished my song and sent it in!!! I'm very happy with it. I don't think it will win any fight but it's one of my favorite recordings ive done in a while. There's this one guitar part I added last minute that totally changed the song, im so proud of it.

Just barely but I'm in. Had to modify the ending to my song a bit but it turned out well I think. ^_^
