We're on schedule like always, deny.

Title: Soundproof
Due: Links posted by 7:30 PM pdt (90 minutes)

I'm sick and have a blistering headache, but unwisely I've decided to pound some DayQuil and record something.

I gave it a try, and I finished, but it's not worth putting up. Probably the worst song I've ever made. Like ... worse than my Andrew Reist entries. By far.
PS Denyer, your link doesn't work on my computer.

Puce - Sound Proof

It turns out it was a weird silent part of the vocal recording that was crashing a plugin that in turn crashed cubase. No idea why; cutting out that part solved the problem.

Denyer, you've failed me: I was expecting something bad, but this is awesome (ya know, in that Denyer way). Am I retarded for laughing at "had sex with a horse, don't know how he did it, without a cock, I guess the horse was on top"?

Man ... I was just listening to my attempted song ... I'm horrified. I'm actually in shock ... man. I hope to never make a song as useless as that ever again.

"http://members.optusnet.com.au/codeburn ... penis).mp3" does work - cut n paste the whole link. I think it's the brackets telling the URL link to stop prematurely...

"Spud doesn't have a penis and I've got sound proof". Good use of the title, Denyer.

Just stop it man. No song is useless, because it leads to the next.

It's a holiday for me (Thanksgiving), so I didn't even think about this today. This is still on for tomorrow.

Post by Ross »

I'm hoping to give this a try tonight. I just need 60 minutes family free (I can mix in the living room).

Awesome. I'm still out this week (sickness and fried studio PC motherboard), but looking forward to your fruits.

First Skirmish

Post by Ross »

Alright - I'm settling with some imperfections, but here's my first skirmish - low res mp3 due to limited disc space - anyone know where I can get http space cheap?

I totally tried to do this, but I'm pretty sure my creativity is gone for now. I just can't do anything right now, never mind something this fast. I might next week or something. I think I just need a break.
