U2 were in Brisbane tonight. So many people at Central station tonight getting a train to QEII Stadium, I almost didn't get a seat on my train home from work. Yeah - you're all over those starving bloody Africans - but what about me and my problems, Bono you bastard.

lyrics donation

Here come the bridesmaids.
Here comes the ring.
There stands a choir and
they begin to sing.

Here comes the bridegroom.
Here comes the bride.
Smile and look happy and
hide what's inside.

You became a sister.
You became a friend.
You became a lover,
but all good things will end.

You became a memory
from the summer of my life
and now I have to watch you
become another's wife.

Now is the moment
Now the songs all cease
I must speak now or
forever hold my peace..

(guitar (or something) solo)

(Bridge:)

May you run to him in sunlight
and cling to him in rain
May you never think on me again
lest the memory bring you pain

May you walk beside each other
until the day you die
May you both find the happiness
that escaped from you and I

(Vocal improv during massive power-ballad jam)

But every time I smell the ocean I'll always think of you.
Every time I hear "Brown Eyed Girl" I'll always think of you.
Every time I look at a map of the midwest I'll remember where we went.
Every time I see faded chrysanthemum I'll remember what we did.

(etc, freestyle, fadeout)

If that's a donation it should go in the lyric donation thread. If those are your lyrics for your entry they should go into the lyrics archive.

I accidentally came up with something for this title, while working on my sidefight cover tune.

It could really use some female backup vocals.
If anyone would like to help out, it be cool.

I threw something together for "Wedding Song".

Not sure I am happy with the mixdown yet (as usual), but this is one of my favorite songs that I have written in a while.

ROCK!

I'm in for this one.

I forget how I came up with my idea for the song, but I like it.

I think this is my best entry yet.

I'm still debating whether or not to submit my entry this week. I'm not happy with it.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

If you're not happy with it, and we don't like what you are happy with, what do you think?

Almost forgot to send my entry in today. I am glad that I remembered it before leaving for work this morning, because it really is one of my favorite songs that I have written in recent history.
