I highly recommend the Soundcraft Compact 4. You get a lot of bang for your 99 bucks.

Tapco is a lesser Mackie.

Tapco's cheap stuff isn't all that bad, certainly a few steps above Behringer. I have a pair of their high-end monitors, and they're pretty great.

If you're looking for a mixer that size, I recommend the little Peavey mixer. PV4 I think is the item number. It's like $49.

*Just looked around, and the PV6 looks like the smallest thing Peavey is still doing. I recall that Behringer also made a mixer as small as that Tapco for like $39, so you're probably good with the Tapco.

Do you really need a mixer for farting around? I can't imagine what you'd be doing to need it.. I have an M08 copy that I thought would be super useful when I got it, and never use. Good luck at any rate.

Yes!

I could use my Traveler, but a cheap thing like this would keep me from having to disrupt my computer setup.
