All I think of is breasts.

Alright.... I'm in London... doing a doc for Discovery..... I got a keyboard..... mics..... I'm in as the MIDIKID and Jesus when I go to Amsterdam after this it's just going to get worse, especially after the cafes. I love beer. And pink ribbons. Especially those ones that stroke across nipples in live sex shows whilst a leather clad gimp licks their toes.

I've had far too many pints to create any kind of tangible controversay.... I apologize in advance for the shite storm /drunken babble

Anyway I'm in. Period.

I think the last fight I saw Tonetripper in was for Crack in my Heart with Gert. Welcome back in the game!

I might just might be making a contribution to this one. That is if I can mix something together in time. I doubt it though. Thumbs down to college courses taking up all my time.

I think I just wrote the hardest song that's not about cancer I've ever had to in my lifetime. Pink ribbons? I hate you.

Alright, I've got something pretty good worked out for this song. It's a fun pop rock type thing. Only problem is, I won't be able to finish it before I have to head back to college today.

So this is a plea for help from the songfight community. If you could offer up your drums, bass, or even lead guitar (if you feel it) to help complete this song. It would be greatly, GREATLY! appreciated.

Please, if you feel you could help in ANY way. Just PM me and we'll work something out. I'm working on charts for the song right now if you think it will help.

Thanks and Gig 'em,

Mr. Lostman

I'd offer to help but I've already got my finger in a pie for this fight. Have you thought about posting to the collaborations subforum? Seems like that'd be a natural place for a request like this.

Yea, sorry I saw that after I posted here. But I hardly ever check there so I figured this place would get me the most "foot-traffic" if you will. I'm really pretty desperate.

*shrug* I mention it because I tend to only look in the prefight/reviews subforum if I'm in a fight, but I tend to keep half an eye on the collabs forum all the time, 'cos I'm such a collab slut. Perhaps I'm not the only one.

I've got something pretty rock'in, I just hope I get it finished in time, because I'm doing it all on my new recording equipment, which I'm still learning how to use. I'm in the digital age now, woo hoo! :P

Hello, Songfighters!!

I (Reve Mosquito) am an ex-Songfighter. I find the finite extent of time I have to engage in fun activities to be both cruel and unjust. Don't you? But hey, today was a holiday, so along with my bent 707, a toy piano, an accordion and a liberal slathering of noise, I knocked out 90 seconds of Pink Ribbon. As such, I will be poluting your noble ranks once more.

Ta!

I put some thought into this title.

Pink ribbon. I'm sure there's some activist slant I could google for the signifigance... but damn it I just don't care enough.
<hard>
Then I thought ... well hell, do a 50's ish kinda thing.. you know, "try a pink ribbon round the old fencepost" or something... but that's too gay, even for me.
<hard>
So. Two weeks into the new year, two titles that are as inspiring as a shot of Teri Hatcher at the golden globes while Clint Eastwood gets his wank from his peers.
<hard>
Oh well. I'm trying... but no sense in forcing the muse.

Well tonight is the Zipline jam night. I usually mull over the title and then write the lyrics on the spot minutes before we record.

Pink Ribbon- the obvious is the breast cancer thing, I think we'll skip that.

Most likely we'll take the 9th place in something idea. A 9th place ribbon is traditionally pink. I think I got one for the triple jump in a national track meet when I was 12.

Then there's something about English barristers traditionally wrapping legal documents in a pink ribbon. I need a better understanding of that, but court case legal dramas are always good material for 3 minute rock songs.
