Digital workstations?

Post by mr_lostman »

I think I may have done something stupid. :(

I am currently the high bidder on this TASCAM US-428. At first i was excited about it. It's the logical next step up from my us-122 right now. And i was psyched about being able to record 4 tracks of audio at a time.

Unfortunately i just realized i don't have the software to do this with. the software it comes with wouldn't allow me four tracks simultaneously. So, I'm just wondering what you guys think on the subject.

Should I just pull out if I win and risk the bad feedback? Or take it sell my old US-122 and buy some better software?

Thoughts?
