They know. We talked about that in the Damnation Affirmative thread.

Heather and Phill's band has an "S" at the end, so it's TOTALLY different. :P

They sound pretty good.

Which is also TOTALLY different when compared to these jokers with the singular name.

Yeah, here we go again.

Phil wants to receive an actual cease and desist letter from "Hellyeah" (or whatever) before we change the name - because he actually likes the guys in that band... but I would rather just change our name and get it over with. It's frustrating!

Wouldn't The Hell Yeahs have a prior claim to the name anyway? They've been using it since 2004.

What I'm really hoping is that this new band doesn't last very long.
I really like the Hell Yeahs's name.
Spencer said the other night "mama, what's Hell Yeahs?"
That was the fucking cement, right there.

Also: Since 2004? Where in the fuck does the TIME GO? hee hee hurf harvle.

I'm secretly hoping for a long term Pantera reunion featuring penultimate stand-inner Dave Navarro on guitar.

And if Rex won't do it, get Mike Watt.

Also: If Phil isn't into it, Vinnie still has a working relationship with Patrick Lachman, right?

And if Vinnie is opposed to the idea: Um.... Terry Bozzio?

THERE, IT'S SETTLED:

If Pantera reforms, featuring Dave Navarro, Mike Watt, Patrick Lachman and Terry Bozzio, WE WILL CHANGE OUR NAME.

(to The Panteras.)
