Five minutes after I read the title (and then went off to wash dishes) I had the chorus. Dishes are my muse.
Forwarded the chorus to someone else for a potential collab, if it comes off I'm in, and if they say no I might be in anyway (but it won't be quite as impressive -- my collab partner's epic instrumentation and arrangement skills are kind of key to the mood.)

FMs - is the cover art for this fight going to be based on the comic strip, or will you need somebody to do a cover?
Since it's probably not obvious, that's Paris Hilton towering over the Eifel Cower in this week's art. I'll try to do better next time...
Gonna see about doing a song for WWNMTB, too. Or maybe Wages will have a good idea and the Gawk will return...

I believe it is to write an opera.signboy wrote:"We were not meant to be", sure... that might work... but WHAT THE HELL is the optional? Really, what is that? How does that correlate to something musical? I think you might have stumped me this time, man.

I wrote an opera song called "Just a Kiss" a couple months ago and got very little respect for it. Then again maybe it was because I digitized my own voice into a female voice in order to achieve a male/female role. Like I'll ever try that again . . . next time I will force my girlfriend to sing, no matter how much anxiety it causes her!
I want to get back into some Songfight! (it's really been a while) so I may be in . . . with my view of the optional challenge: writing a song using the existence / extinction of the Dinosaurs as a metaphor for something that only God would know.

Ryan North might link to your alternate fanart, sir.
I sure hope I make a song again.

glug glug glug egg makes wine. You can make wine too.
In a sadder, darker past I would always turn to various new and unstoppable things in order to satisfy all of my clip-art related entertainment needs. But! These dinosaurs have some funny (and educational!) things to say. As per standard practice I will probably not compose a song, but I will feel worse than usual about my failures this time around.
Also my clothing budget for the immediate future is tied up in replacing holey socks and four-dollar Salvation Army sportcoats, but I will endeavor to steal some money from naive children so I can purchase a commemorative dinosaur comic t-shirt.

Am I rockin' hard, or hardly rockin'?
Dude Boltoph if you get back into Songfight this week, I will gladly get back in with you. I want to do this one, but I don't know if I'll have time to do a full song, and we should collab dude.boltoph wrote:I wrote an opera song called "Just a Kiss" a couple months ago and got very little respect for it.
