Well, I said that I'd do an internet radio show and I did and it's much better than the spots I used to do on Glenn's House of Delusions podcast. So please feel free to check out the first ever broadcast of Niveous' "The Other Night I Dreamt of Knives". It's an hour long and includes some of my favorite bands, some new faves, a couple of old faves, a few songfighters and my usual banter (now without the horrible static).

we relaunched the company website recently (its just as shocking as ever, by the way) but I have been given our first flash based ad spot to do. Exciting! Not really, its all just motion tweens and 0% to 100% alpha tweens, but still, its a start.

We got our performance reviews back today. I wasn't surprised at all by mine, but Simon's had the comment 'needs a lifestyle change' in his. Slightly personal for a performance review, don't you think?

My first experience with people on the net... fuck, i can't even remember what is it.

No, wait! I recall. When I first got connected, I joined a Warhammer Quest mailing list. I regard that as a very positive experience.

Great work, Niv, I'm about halfway through and am anxious for the next installment (and if you need any guests... ahem).

I once called Jack "Jack" on the telephone and he thought I had a wrong number.

I think my first must have been through usenet. around 1994. I was thrilled that I could apparently talk to anyone about anything and sure enough, I was able to hear from folks back east (in the US) abut recent Christine Lavin shows. I was thrilled!

At the dentist again today. I have a new temporary crown on both sides - my face hurts.

I'm pretty sure we called each other "Ray" and "Jack" while I was in SC. Real names never entered my head. On Glen's Youtube footage you can hear Bjam call me "John" at one stage - that seems weird!

I decided to just take a quick listen, and listen to the whole podcast later when I get back. But the song choices were SO good, I couldn't stop listening. Then much to my surprise, you chose my version of Cocaine Sister to close the show. It's so strange to hear a "soon to be famous" podcast DJ broadcasting to the entire world say, up next, BLT, then to hear one of my songs with such a great line up of bands. I'm verklempt.
Can't wait for your next podcast, Niv.
