Hey look, it's Songfight with a goatee

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

Gee, it's quiet over there. Not at all like a Songfight.

That site looks like trash. I may have to look harder though - maybe it's more than what meets the eye.

Dude, let's drop these guys a line, and maybe we can get some collab action happening. My songs have been in dire need of a good tornado solo.

My phone is ringing, I've never heard it ring before. I also never had an orange until I was 16.

Charles V would love to join. But he's having troubles with the registration :?: When he tries to join, it says that "something went wrong".

Any ideas to what the problem is?

CharlesV wrote:Looks like the board just hates gmail addresses...! Hey guys. I've still got that genii track if anyone's interested. I also know a girl who really did not have an orange until she was 16.
gmail is fine, but there's a bunch of anti-spammer heuristics (which work based not on email address but on other settings which tend to be adopted by spammers rather than legitimate users), and when you were trying to register in the past you must have been tripping one or more.

(For example, certain combinations of things like disabling BBCode, changing the default board theme, turning off PM notification, and having a username which ends in a long series of random numbers are all things that you tend to see from spammers but not from legitimate users. Also there's a thing which only allows you to register if it takes at least 30 seconds to fill out the form, though I think I'll lower that threshold to 10 seconds.)

Basically we have a big problem with spambots.
