i can't get enough of this song. it was written by yoko kanno, but sung (mostly in russian) by origa. they have collaborated on other masterpieces such as "rise" and "inner universe", but this one is my favorite.
now you can enjoy it too, thanks to someone i don't know on esnips.

Nice. I love Thursday. But why no stuff from War All the Time?EmbersOfAutumn wrote:Thursday, mix CD of their first album and EP singles.
Sidenote: Thursday is from New Brunswick, NJ. I used to live there. They have a song called "Division Street". Where did I live in New Brunswick? You betcha.

I'm listening to some great live electronic jams by 302Acid. Check them out here:
http://www.302acid.com/
Their "downloads" tab has some jams on. I am now listening to the Nottingham one, which is great.

I love that stuff. This is my "on the way home to have an ice cold beer" music, because I'm always pumped at the end of the day.WeaselSlayer wrote:I've been binging on industrial music, Ministry's old stuff and lots and lots of Godflesh. Plus I finally picked up Locust Abortion Technician by my personal heroes the Butthole Surfers.

I just listened. I have a hard time listening to synthesizer music, with a few exceptions. I only like it as background music when I'm playing Tripstone the Magnificent and my wife is my lovely assistant.HeuristicsInc wrote:I'm listening to some great live electronic jams by 302Acid. Well actually just sometimes, like the MM song World At Large. Do they take turns on lead vocals? Because the singing sounds different all the time.
edit: This is the song that sounds like Luke

I agree big on this one. I've always told you guys I have a secret funky side, and the Beastie's are fill'n my groove hard. It's kind of funny, because I like a punky funky vibe these days, and their new stuff is just that. Too bad I don't have a name to sell it. My band thinks I'm way off, but I'm feeling a new funky retro future combo type era from the alternative genre, mark my words.jack wrote:i've really been digging the beastie boys instrumental "the mix up" alot lately. heavy pod rotation.
Who wants to join my new futuristic pfunk band?:P
